DIY Past Life!

Ancient people, especially the Japanese, Australian aborigines, Africans, modern Wiccans and many other New Age religions, believed the idea of reincarnation. This is about the thought that all people had past life and the person you are now and the behavior you have now has everything to do with that particular past life.

Health, mental wellbeing, and social interactions can be linked to past life experiences, accumulating through each past life. By finding out about who you were in a past life, you may be able to better understand your fears, weaknesses and strengths to make you a stronger and better person in your present life, as well as future lives.

How can you tell you have a past life? You may not be able to, but in many cases you will have disturbing dreams, or memories while you’re awake that do not belong to you. Many people who believe in reincarnation believe that we all have past lives (though if you do the math, it’s more probable that there are at least some new souls!) Other indications:

* An attraction to a different culture or region but you have no idea why you feel compelled to it, since it has no bearing on your present life. If you love a certain kind of period art, or food, yet can’t understand the basis for the attraction, it is possible that there is a link from one of your past lives. Some people may try to learn more about the art to see if a distinct time period and region is related, in order to analyze why they feel it is part of their life, yet there is no basis for it.

* Abnormally strong emotions about some incident in history � if, for instance, you tear up when you look at Washington Crossing the Delaware but not at any other revolutionary art, you may have been involved in that incident in a past life.

* Certain physical or psychological issues and problems that you cannot explain or give logical reasons for its existence may be linked to what your past life was.

You do not have to have all these indications to completely and confidently acknowledge that you are experiencing past life recollection. Actually, even just one single indicator is enough to say that you really do recall your past life. Search your inner self by looking at unfamiliar things that attract you most or odd patterns in your life that are unexplainable. These will help you put the pieces all together.

Self-hypnosis is a good way to tap into past life experiences through life regression that takes you back to what occurred before infancy and the womb. You can also be hypnotized by specialists in past life regression where a form of deep hypnotic trances are induced to get you to remember memories of past lives that subconsciously exist in your mind, even now.

You may want to consider using the hypnotic techniques that has a relaxation effect, once you made your decision about hypnotism. Allow your self to be comfortable and relaxed for a while before you proceed to past life regression.

Self hypnosis and past life regression is relatively safe because they are much like a dream or nightmare that you wake up from and have some feelings about, but no other consequences. Since you will not recall the past life experiences as vividly as present life, there is not much to worry about. Feelings from a past life can help you understand how you think and act on things today.

If good feelings are brought out, those are important as bad feelings from past life memory are a part of regression that can manifest how you react and think in your present life, whether good or bad. You may have an uneasy feeling that is hard to explain after awakening from the trance, but the regression is meant to bring those feelings to the surface.

You also have to realize that you have to undergo this kind of experience for you to be able to start your life positively. The recollection of negative incidences of your past life is only a small portion of the process. Once you are through with this life regression and you have learned to accept and understand the life you have been through in the past, you will be free to move on and make your current life better.

There is a theory of �Karma� which says that, if we were good people in one life, and committed kind and positive acts, then we will have �good Karma� and subsequently, we will receive �good� in all future lives – unless we change and become �bad� people! If that happens, personal Karma changes and negative events will hound us throughout future lives until we have suffered enough to atone and revert back to being a �good soul�.

This interpretation causes confusion with many people that believe we are not punished in future lives or destined to live that way forever. They think that each new life is to do the things over again, that we may not have done right before. Memories from a previous life are meant to allow you to live in the present, once you have acknowledged them, recognized them and learned from them.
